No Witch- Hunt In Police Going After Gang Members Say Najib.

PUTRAJAYA: The on-going Ops Cantas to flush out triad members that is now being conducted by the police is not a witch-hunt, said Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak.
 The Prime Minister said the operation was a much-needed initiative by the police in order for the people to live in an environment free of crime.
 "It is a relentless fight against crime and I have asked the police to continue with it. "It is not a witch-hunt. It is desired by the people.
 "If we want to live in a country free from crime, then we need to do this," he told newsmen here on Thursday. the Home Minister earlier released the list of 49 illegal organisations where mostly are triads as part of Ops Cantas.
