Top 3 Reasons not to marry a Hot Guy?

I grew up believing in fairy tales where prince charming comes to the rescue of a fair maiden and takes her to his multimillion dollar palace. And as usual fairy tales often describe Prince Charming to have looks of Adonis (perhaps in this day and age, the good looks of George Clooney and the body of a well known footballer, oh I don’t know, say David Beckham?)
 Whatever your description of Prince Charming may be, point is, we want a hot dude. Girls won’t give an average Joe the time of his life. Face it, good looks topples a good guy’s personality. No matter how sweet or funny a guy may be, girls would rather risk getting their heart broken by the gorgeous player.
 Now before all of us go down that road of heart break and misery and god forbid, divorce, allow me to enlighten you on why you shouldn’t marry the Hot Guy.

 Hot Guys are full of themselves
 Between you and me, if a hot guy asks you out on a date, I’d be the last one to say no. Simple, it’s really flattering to have someone irresistibly handsome shower you with attention. But once you go on that date, ever notice how the whole conversation is fixated on him? For instance how he goes to the gym 5 times a week, how he’s been DJ-ing since he was 5 years old, and now he’s a successful managing director, etc. I don’t know about you, but if the first date is all about him, I’d hate to see what marriage would look like. 

Hot Guys like their entrée with something on the side
 If he’s that good looking with a smile that can literally kill, girls will throw themselves at him, making it quite tempting to cheat. Not that I’m saying all hot guys are cheaters, there are Average Joes who are still able to cheat on their wives (God knows how). If sustaining a marriage with Average Joe was difficult enough, imagine how much extra effort you would have to put up because you’re trying to keep a man who can get anything he wants. Ask yourself, is it really worth it? Is HE really worth it?

 Hot Guys come with attention; usually unwanted
 Regardless of the type of attention they get, you might want to take a rain check on that. Society will always deem you “lucky to have him”, especially if he’s better looking than you. People will always assume your man chose you because your father is rich or something along the lines. No one could possibly believe that your husband truly loves you for you, since he’s so handsome and he could be with anyone he wants. It’s more of an internal issue at this point, as in how can you deal. If you’re confident and couldn’t care less about what people say (hey, people will never stop talking), then all the more power to you. But if you are the type that cares, little things like these can actually eat you up inside.
 Truth be told, there’s no easy way in maintaining your happy ever after. Not all hot guys are cheating scumbags and not all ugly ones are sweethearts
. Inner beauty is what counts. For all you know, you could actually win the affections of a man looks like David Beckham and loves his wife to the moon and back like Khairy.
